Stellar SLIM™ is a physician-led medical weight-management program. Prescription medication may be incorporated when clinically appropriate, but treatment can also include medical assessment, nutrition strategy, activity guidance, progress monitoring and long-term maintenance planning.

 There is no predetermined medication.

Your physician will assess your medical history, current health, goals, contraindications and other relevant factors before recommending treatment.

 You may discuss your preferences with your physician. A prescription is issued only when the clinician determines that a medication is safe and appropriate for you. 

Testing may be recommended depending on your health history, medications and proposed treatment. 

 Results vary considerably between individuals and cannot be guaranteed. Your physician will help establish realistic clinical goals and monitor your progress. 

 There is no universal timeline. Duration depends on your medical circumstances, goals, response to treatment and long-term management strategy. 

 Maintenance is part of the Stellar SLIM Method™.

Your physician can work with you to develop an appropriate longer-term strategy based on your clinical circumstances.

  Some follow-up visits may be suitable for virtual care. Your clinical team will determine when an in-person assessment is necessary.
